I want to thank you for everything you did during the federal election earlier this year.

Every vote counts - and without you we simply couldn't have got there. 

You’re a key part of our people-powered movement. Heaps of members and supporters volunteered on pre-poll or election day in Groom and Maranoa, and many more of you supported us in conversations online or with friends and family.

Your collective hard work helped the Greens maintain the vote during a punishing election in two of Queensland's most challenging electorates, which is no mean feat.

Critically, you helped us secure Larissa’s place in the Senate, giving the Greens sole balance of power. 

On Friday, 5th September I’ll be in Toowoomba to catch up and thank you for doing the work when it counted.

I hope you can make it for some yarns and a bite to eat.
