Thoroughbred Park is being rezoned. The racing industry wants to stick up a handful of unaffordable luxury apartments around the edge. The Greens think we can do better:
🏠 Up to 5,000 new homes (including 20% public and community housing) in the heart of Canberra
🧑🎓 A new Preschool to Year 10 school to relieve the immense pressure currently on existing schools in the Inner North
🏥 Community and health facilities, including a new retirement village
🏞️ Re-naturalised Sullivan's Creek, complete with a microforest and new environment community hub
🚊 Missing-middle and mixed-use development on an established tram line
We will be out and about in the Lyneham Shops on Saturday, 14 February from 3-5 pm, encouraging people to contact the Planning Minister about this issue and we would love it if you could join us for some or all of that time!
