Matt Grudnoff is a senior economist at the Australia Institute. He has published widely on taxation and tax concessions, the Federal Budget, poverty, inequality, and housing affordability.

Matt will unpack how and why Australia should tax the top 1% and how a wealth tax could help address some of today's biggest challenges. Communities are facing increasing pressure from the fuel and cost of living crises, growing inequality, and rising demand for essential services – something has to give.
