National day of action: Protect Our NDIS Alliance

The Greens will keep doing everything we can to stop Labor’s cruel bill to gut the NDIS. If the NDIS Bill passes, people will die. We have to scrap this Bill!

WHAT ARE WE FIGHTING FOR?

We have until 14 August to force the government to scrap the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026 (the NDIS Bill), and you can help. We need allies to join us on the street!

We have to scrap the Bill - there are no amendments that can make this Bill safe for participants and disabled people. The risk is far too high.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN DEMANDS?

• Scrap the NDIS Bill!

• Stop the cuts, don't put a price on our rights

• Expand Safeguards, Don't kick people off the NDIS

• Tax Gas Corporations and billionaires

• Expand Disability Services, Human Rights for all

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO?

1. Make a plan to call Liberal and Independent Senators and Angus Taylor as Liberal Leader at least once a week to tell them to scrap the NDIS Bill! We have Calling Guides to help you on the Protect Our NDIS Alliance Linktree here.

2. Send an email to Liberal Senators and MPs using Every Australian Counts email template (on Protect Our NDIS Alliance Linktree here).

3. Speak to everyone in your communities: in your workplaces, in your social groups, to your treating professionals, and tell them how bad the NDIS Bill is.

4. JOIN US ON SATURDAY 1 AUGUST!

Let the government feel our community’s power. We have to stop the cuts. Don’t put a price on our lives.

We have until August 14 when the Bill returns to Senate for a vote to escalate our actions to agitate for the cruelty to stop.
