UC Greens Politics in the Pub - Multicultural Australia

Come along for a discussion on multiculturalism in Australia, and in particular, combatting threats from the rising far-right, confronting our harsh and inhumane immigration laws, and a proposal to expand the vote in the ACT to include Permanent Residents.

We'll be joined by special guests NSW Senator and Australian Greens Spokesperson on Anti-Racism Dr Mehreen Faruqi, anti-war academic and activist Dr Rana Tayara, and Canberra Refugee Action Campaign leader Dr John Minns.

Bring along your friends and/or make some on the night. This event is open to UC students and staff, as well as the broader community.
